Thrush is a superficial lesion that appears on the buccal (mouth) mucosa, and sometimes on the genital mucosa. It's characterized by small white bumps. Thrush indicates heightened sensitivity to one's environment, "vibrations," and the atmosphere of a situation. People experiencing thrush often suffer silently, keeping their mouths closed. It also suggests difficulties in establishing roots and expressing oneself because of a perceived lack of empowerment. This condition may trace back to a past experience during youth when confronted with an uncomfortable situation and feeling unable to react or assert oneself. Even today, when subconsciously reminded of that experience, canker sores may appear. Words may feel futile and incomplete due to nervousness, leaving individuals mute without the thought of rebellion. If harboring hidden injustices, disgust, or dissatisfaction, individuals can choose to express themselves openly and calmly to avoid more severe outbreaks of painful white bumps.

Muguet, also known as thrush, is a contagious yeast infection characterized by the presence of creamy white plaques in the mouth and throat. This condition is common in children and often arises after continuous crying and screaming when the child seeks physical contact and affection from their parents. To understand this, it's essential to place oneself in the child's position, particularly a baby who requires this contact to feel safe due to vulnerability. Screaming and crying become the child's means of expressing the need for human warmth, even though parents may misinterpret these signals as signs of hunger, thirst, or discomfort. This inability to fulfill the need for physical contact leads to vocalization issues. To address this, parents should hold the child in their arms, offering comfort and affection as frequently as possible to resolve the vocalization problem. In adults, if thrush occurs following a respiratory tract infection, the emotional needs are similar to those of the child mentioned earlier. The inner child in the adult requires attention and security. The adult self can provide comfort and reassurance to restore harmony and promote healing.

Regurgitation refers to the effortless return of esophageal or stomach contents to the mouth, often due to an obstruction. In general, this type of regurgitation signifies that the body didn't require what the person had just ingested. However, it's possible for regurgitation to coincide with the rejection of something seen or heard in the person's surroundings. When regurgitation reflects a rejection of external events, it's a signal to explore within and identify any fear of rejection that this incident has triggered. An ulcer is a loss of tissue in the skin or mucosal lining, accompanied by deep lesions in underlying tissues that impede healing. Ulcers can occur in various parts of the body. Refer to the affected body part, noting that the afflicted person often harbors resentment, and the internal pain is challenging to heal. Only forgiveness, as detailed at the end of this book, can aid in healing these wounds effectively.
Ulcers can manifest externally on the skin (arms, legs, cornea of the eye, etc.) or internally within an organ (stomach, intestine, liver, mouth, etc.). They indicate profound fears and insecurity, revealing intense stress and feelings of being corroded, annoyed, and consumed. The location of the ulcer may provide insights into the root causes. For instance, mouth ulcers may suggest unspoken words, while stomach ulcers may reflect difficulties in digesting life's challenges. In general, ulcers signify irritation from within. Learning to let go and find inner calm is essential.
