The thalamus consists of bulky gray matter nuclei located on either side of the third ventricle of the forebrain. It serves as a relay for sensory pathways. Dysfunction of the thalamus suggests that I am grappling with significant questions about my identity, self-perception, and may have a tendency to despair. I fear others' opinions and being underestimated. I am on a quest to discover my true identity. Embracing my authenticity and being genuine with the people in my life will foster healthy and enduring relationships.
