Lung cancer is directly linked to our ability to breathe and live. It represents a fear of dying due to a situation in life that gnaws at me and makes me feel like I'm dying inside. It could result from a separation, divorce, loss of a loved one, or a significant job change. Any event that symbolizes the core of my existence. To overcome this, I must embrace life, recognizing that each breath is a circulation of life within me. I choose to live beyond my fears and affirm that life deserves to be cherished and lived.

Tongue cancer, although it can be associated with smoking or alcoholism, often stems from a deep sense of despair, indicating a loss of joy in living. It may signify an inability to express this displeasure or the suppression of these emotions. Alcoholism and smoking can be seen as ways to cope with these emotions – alcohol serves as an escape, while smoking screens unwanted feelings.

To overcome tongue cancer, I must rediscover the taste for life, boost my self-esteem, and learn to express my emotions openly. Cigarettes are associated with the lungs, symbolizing life, freedom, autonomy, and communication with oneself and the universe. Smoking is often viewed as a protective "veil" that shields deep anxieties. Unconsciously, cigarettes may fulfill unmet childhood needs for warmth, love, and affection, similar to the comfort of maternal care.
Smoking becomes a habitual, automatic gesture, serving to balance nervousness and excitability. It may offer a sense of "mother's peace" and security. Smoking is often an escape from unpleasant situations, family issues, or life's challenges, clouding decision-making.
Cigarettes increase heart rate and act as stimulants, masking underlying decisions that need clarity. Identifying the emotional cause linked to smoking can ease the path to quitting. It's an opportunity to discover your true desires and fulfill your needs harmoniously with your authentic self.

During fetal development when the lungs form, it signifies my commitment to be here and my agreement to embrace life, demonstrated through my breathing. If I fear life or wish for someone else to take charge of my life, my lungs may encounter difficulties. Shallow breathing serves as a defense mechanism against facing reality, resulting in anxiety and fear of perceived threats. My lung function reflects my capacity to expand, engage, or contract, withdraw, and isolate from life. Pulmonary emphysema, characterized by difficulty breathing and a sense of oppression, suggests I may have difficulty accepting life's challenges. Why do I struggle to engage with life? Is this a way of evading it? I must reclaim my power, assert myself, and express my needs to rediscover enthusiasm for life. The oppression I felt will transform into an influx of air and life into my lungs, revealing countless opportunities for happiness.
Pneumonia, an infection of the lungs caused by bacteria or viruses, and pleurisy, acute or chronic inflammation of the pleura (the membrane surrounding the lungs), indicate an inner conflict significantly weakening me. It signifies irritation and limitation in my relationship with the air of my inner life, restricting my ability to live fully. These deeply ingrained emotions represented by inflammation may indicate feeling deeply "shocked" or "irritated." My emotions, fear of isolation or overwhelm, and resistance to life profoundly affect my lung function. I may feel entangled in personal relationships, overwhelmed by responsibilities, and experience discouragement and despair, questioning the purpose of life. To address these issues, I must allocate time for self-care and simplify my life by relinquishing responsibilities that aren't mine. By doing so, life will become easier and more beautiful.
