Homosexuality Psychosomatic and Holistic Meaning and Interpretation

Is there exclusion in love? Is homosexuality a disease? Some argue that homosexuality could be rooted in our genetic makeup. Homosexuality is a language of love increasingly accepted in contemporary society. It may represent a stage in the search for identity or a life choice for personal growth or societal progress. Many parents have embraced their gay (term for male homosexuality) or lesbian (term for female homosexuality) children with unconditional love. It balances the feminine (YIN or intuitive) and masculine (YANG or rational) aspects. Whether I accept my identity or seek in someone of the same sex what I've rejected, or look for a father or mother figure, it's essential that my choice aligns with my true self. If I choose homosexuality due to rejection of the opposite sex, I may repeat similar situations as if I hadn't embraced this realization. Once I'm clear about my sexual orientation, be it homosexual or heterosexual, I should not feel threatened by those with different orientations. If I react negatively to others' orientations, I should introspect what I fear in that situation. What am I protecting myself from? Am I afraid to acknowledge a homosexual aspect within myself? Focus on love between two people, regardless of sexual orientation. I can ask my inner guide to help me understand at a heart level, accept myself, and accept others as they are.
